Every one who loved her, called her Pearl. Janis Joplin was an energetic singer who lived life hard and fast. Her talent has been inspirational to generations of musicians. Imagine the heights she could've risen to if her life hadn't been snuffed out too early. Janis became a member of the 27 Club after injecting a potent very pure hit of heroin.
